EarnOn Cookie Policy

Last updated: 01 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how EarnOn uses cookies and similar tracking technologies across our website and applications, including EarnOn Events. It's referenced in, and should be read alongside, our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website or use an app. Similar technologies include pixel tags (also called web beacons or clear GIFs) and device identifiers used in our mobile apps. We use the term "cookies" in this policy to cover all of these.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies

Required for the Platform to function. These keep you logged in, remember items in an active checkout, and protect against fraud. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while continuing to use the Platform, since core features — including ticket checkout and account login — depend on them.

2.2 Functional Cookies

Remember your preferences, such as language, display settings, or a saved search filter on the events discovery page. Disabling these means the Platform may not remember your preferences between visits.

2.3 Analytics Cookies

Help us understand how people use EarnOn — which pages are visited, how long a checkout flow takes, where users drop off — so we can improve the Platform. This data is generally aggregated and not used to identify you individually.

2.4 Advertising Cookies

Used to deliver more relevant advertising on and off the Platform, and to measure ad performance. These may be set by us or by third-party advertising partners. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of this category specifically — see Section 4.

3. What We Do Not Use Cookies For

To be clear about a distinction covered in our Privacy Policy: the precise geolocation data collected during EarnOn Events check-in (confirming you're at a venue) is not a cookie and is not used for advertising. It's a one-time, purpose-specific location reading tied to check-in, governed by Section 1.2 of our Privacy Policy — not by this Cookie Policy.

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

Cookie Settings Panel. Where available, use the Cookie Settings link in the app or website footer to manage which categories of cookies (other than essential) you allow.

Browser Settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings menu. Blocking essential cookies may prevent parts of the Platform — including checkout — from working correctly.

Opting Out of Advertising Cookies. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to opt out of the use of cookies for targeted advertising. Use the Cookie Settings panel described above, or your device's ad-tracking limitation settings, to exercise this choice.

Mobile App Tracking. On iOS and Android, you can manage app-tracking permissions through your device's privacy settings, separate from browser cookie controls.

5. Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our Platform are set by third parties we work with — for example, analytics providers or advertising partners. These third parties' use of the data they collect is governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. We do not control their use of that data beyond the purpose we've engaged them for.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated the same way as changes to our Privacy Policy.
